Technical Standards

Pool Void_39Pool Void Cover Installed_39

Our Pool Void Covers® have been designed and manufactured to meet and exceed all known current Australian regulations, specifications and requirements, including in following states – that have different legal requirements – Victoria; New South Wales; Queensland.

Our Pool Void Covers® are engineer designed and a Form 15 – Engineering Certificate is supplied with each installation. Your house builder will ask you for a Form 15 Engineering Certificate – this includes the systems engineered design specifications.

Be aware of any supplier that offers a Form 15 manufacturing certificate that is supplied by retailers (such as Bunnings !!). These are not accepted by house builder site managers/safety officers.

This is to be used for the purposes of section 10 of the Building Act 1975 and/or section 46 of the Building Regulation 2006.

Minimum rated to 225kg Safe Working Load (SWL)

When used in a full system covering a void – the SWL for the complete system is also 225kg per 1.8m length of cover. This is assumed to be two people (@100kg each) and tools (25kg).

The engineering design certification is for the individual platform, the structural beams and the system as a whole and have been designed taking into account the following Australian Standards:

Each individual platform is rated to a SWL of 225kg, due to its modular design, these can be linked together.
